Characteristics and mathematical models of the thin-layer drying of paddy rice with low-pressure superheated steam

Drying paddy with low-pressure superheated steam (LPSS) can effectively increase the γ-aminobutyric acid content in paddy. This study aimed to investigate characteristics and mathematical models (MMs) of thin-layer drying LPSS. The experimentally obtained data were fitted by nonlinear regression 5 MMs commonly used for calculate goodness fit MMs. Then, LPSS was modeled two machine learning methods as a Bayesian regularization back propagation (BRBP) neural network support vector (SVM). results showed that is reduced-rate process. temperature operating pressure have significant impact on Under same pressure, increasing accelerate rate. temperature, comparison model evaluation indexes common empirical (Hederson Pabis, Page, Midilli, Logarithmic, Lewis) achieve excellent fitting effects single experimental condition.
